British designer Stella McCartney is launching her own beauty house in collaboration with the French group LVMH. Zoom.

breaking news. Stella McCartney launches her own beauty brand. Developed in partnership with LVMH Beauty Division, this new beauty house named STELLA is based on the convictions of the English designer, a pioneer in responsible luxury fashion who has been advocating a vegan and cruelty-free industry for years now. The will here? Offer an Alter-Care, in other words an alternative and responsible solution to high-end skin care by highlighting the importance of taking care of yourself as well as the planet. “We started with an idea, and because we didn’t want to compromise – on clinical results, on where our ingredients come from, and, of course, on minimizing our impact on the Earth – we decided to worked tirelessly for three years with LVMH to achieve what seemed possible to me: natural, effective and responsible skincare. A game-changing approach that I want to share with as many people as possible. The consumer must know that there is another way, that he has a choice,” said Stella McCartney, in a press release published on August 25, 2022 by the French group.

A refined skincare range

This responsible luxury skincare range – founded on the designer’s philosophy that “only use what you need” – includes 3 essential products: a makeup remover, a serum and a moisturizer. “Each stage of the product’s life cycle has been studied to minimize its impact – from ingredients to packaging, through operations and to consumer use”, we learn in the press release. All product formulas are made with at least 99% natural-origin ingredients, and each is available in a unique, eco-friendly refill. To go further in this approach, the brand will donate 1% of its sales to the NGO Wetlands International, which specializes in the management and protection of water resources.

Another specificity of the range? Francis Kurkdjian (founder of Maison Francis Kurkdjian and director of perfume creation for Parfums Christian Dior) designed the fragrance for the products, “High Cliff”.

If you want to get STELLA treatments, they will be available at the beginning of September on the site:
