On her Instagram account, the Italian influencer revealed a hairstyle from our childhood, ideal for this end of the season.

Not a day goes by without her fashion and beauty looks being scrutinized (that’s called fame, right?). And after manicures of all kinds – ranging from a chameleon polish to a pastel shade without forgetting the dark red (even in summer) – today it is a hair look that the Italian influencer Chiara Ferragni inspires us: the glued braids. A regressive and easy-to-reproduce hairstyle like Barbie-style ponytail (the trend barbeque barely pointing the tip of her nose at the time) that she wore for the Haute Couture fall-winter 2022-2023 show from the house of Dior, last July.

Where and when to wear braids glued to the top of the head?

Currently vacationing in Ibiza with her family, Chiara Ferragni sports a new hairstyle every day. But these are his glued braids – also called boxer braids – which particularly attract our attention. And for good reason, this hairstyle of our child is adopted in all circumstances. By day, for a trip to the market, the beach or the swimming pool (not forgetting the office for those who are already back) and by night, for a walk in the moonlight or to dance until dawn. We also love it because it can be easily accessorized with colored elastics, small hair jewels or even butterfly clips scattered all over the hair. Its plus? It clears our necks, and that, with the high temperatures, we say yes!

How to reproduce the glued braids of Chiara Ferragni?

To reproduce this hairstyle, “untangle your hair and divide it into two equal parts using a comb,” says Antonia Mastromauro, Milanese hair stylist at ELLE Italy. Then just proceed side by side. Form a large lock (without taking all the hair) then divide it into three smaller locks. Next, place the braiding. It is essential to pass the left and right strands under the central strand in order to braid correctly. As you go along, don’t forget to integrate a new section on the sides so that all the hair takes part in the hairstyle. All you have to do is repeat the same thing on the other side of the head, and you’re done!
