Fashion week has just ended in Paris. While it was an opportunity for the greatest designers to unveil their collections, it also made it possible to identify future trends, both on the catwalks and on the front row. Although the fashion shows are sources of inspiration in fashion as well as in beauty, the invited celebrities are also inspiring and sources of trends. Latest example? That of short nails. Seen on the hands of Marion Cotillard or Keira Knightley, both invited to the Haute Couture show Chanelthis Tuesday, July 5, the actresses appeared with a monochrome, vitamin manicure and above all, on short nails.
Short nails: the manicure trend to adopt in 2022
While we had already asked ourselves the question when we saw the queen of XXL nails, Kim Kardashiangive up its lengths in favor of pretty short and square nails at the beginning of the year, now there is no longer any doubt: this nail size is on the rise.
And like many other trends, it comes straight from the catwalks across the Atlantic. Already on the fingers of many models at New York Fashion Week last winter, it took a season for this movement to take hold in France. But unlike the nude which had been favored on the catwalks of the Big Apple, in France, the color remains in place. According to Marion Cotillard and Keira Knightley, short nails will be worn in a red and orange color chart, for a sunny and comfortable manicure to wear.
