If 2022 has taught us anything beauty-wise, it’s that past trends are on the rise more than ever. And that goes doubly for hair trends. From the resurgence of the blow-dry popular with models in the 1980s, to hairstyles from our college years passing through the popular trends in the 2000s, beauty enhancements are a perpetual renewal. However, there is one style that has persisted over the decades: the fringe curtain. Halfway between the carefree spirit of the 60s and the ease of a modern style, the curtain fringe splits in the middle of the forehead into two large locks and blends with the rest of the hair on either side of the face. If it suits (almost) all hair types, curtain bangs can be a bit complicated to style. Here is the pro trick to get there hands down.

How to style your curtain bangs to perfection?
In a now-viral TikTok video, famed London hairstylist Seán Paul Nother explains how to get the perfect volume and movement when drying your bangs at home. “The first step is to put 4 rollers in the hair. It won’t cost you much and the 36mm ones are perfect. Separate your bangs in two then roll two rollers outwards then two others towards the back on each side of the face. Dry everything in the open air for about 35 minutes or a few minutes with a hair dryer fitted with a diffuser. When your hair is completely dry, brush it upside down and you’re done. Thank you Sean!
