For this fall 2022, Chanel signs a new collection in tweed. And this time, it’s not ready-to-wear but makeup. And it is Les 4 Ombres – the brand’s essential make-up eyeshadow range created in 1982 – which have the honor of adorning themselves with this material so dear to the wardrobe of Gabrielle Chanel.
Four exclusive creations, each composed of a quartet of shades, have been imagined for this new collection. Among them, Fauve Tweed (brick orange, amber gold, satiny coral, matte aubergine brown); Copper Tweed (pearly dark burnished purple, copper brown, gold highlighter, bronze); Purple Tweed (golden iridescent mauve, satin peach pink, satin intense plum, satin old rose) and finally Brown and Pink Tweed (pink platinum, icy brown, chocolate brown and pink highlighter).
Each of the four shades making up a color chart of the 4 Ombres Tweed collection has been designed to be mixed with the others according to one’s desire in order to compose harmonious beauty highlights. A bit like the threads of a tweed fabric which, when assembled, see their intensity vary. Creativity is then key. Every day, her eye makeup! And in addition to their intense pigmentation, we appreciate their soft texture and their masterful hold. Not to mention their tweed clutch made by Maison Lesage (part of Chanel’s Métiers d’Art since 2002) that we particularly like.
The 4 Ombres Tweed are available at the price of 78€, in limited edition on the site Chanel.com.
